Privacy notice

This notice explains how MedixCart FZC LLC (MedixCart) processes personal data when you use the MedixCart marketplace. We process data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable laws.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, work email, phone number, role and organisation membership.
Organisation and verification data: trade licence, facility or warehouse licence, VAT registration, bank details, and authorised signatory identity documents.
Transaction data: quotations, orders, delivery addresses, invoices, payments, returns and messages with sellers or buyers.
Technical data: session identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, and, where you consent or where enabled, analytics about how pages are used.

2. How we use it

To verify organisations and keep the marketplace limited to licensed businesses.
To operate quotations, orders, payments, escrow, invoicing, delivery tracking, recalls and support.
To meet legal obligations, including VAT record keeping and health authority requests.
To keep the Platform secure, prevent fraud and improve our services.

3. Sharing

We share order details with the counterparty to a transaction (for example, a buyer's delivery address with the seller), with payment providers such as Wio Bank, with logistics partners, and with authorities where required by law. Identity documents and licences are visible only to your organisation and MedixCart staff with a need to review them. We do not sell personal data.

4. Storage and security

Verification documents are encrypted at rest and served only through permission-checked links. Access by MedixCart staff is role-based and logged. We keep data for as long as your account is active and afterwards for the periods required by law, including UAE VAT record retention.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing, subject to legal retention requirements. Contact privacy@medixcart.ae.

6. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics / Tag Manager) are used only where enabled, to understand aggregate usage.
